The Great Commission

"'Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.' Amen." -- Matthew 28:19-20

We believe that it is the obligation of the saved to witness by life and by word to the truths of Holy Scripture and to seek to proclaim the Gospel to all mankind. (Matt. 28:19-20; Mark 16:15; Acts 1:8; 2 Corinthians 5:19-20)

The apostles had a clear mission, which they were to fulfill. In order to be successful, some of them were going to have to leave all that was familiar to them. The meaning of the word "mission" is similar to the word "apostle." It means "one sent away for a specific purpose."

The task of making disciples is easier said than done. God knows that not everyone can go to the whole world. We all have our own unique ministry or mission, which we are to fulfill. Not all of us have to move to accomplish this mission. However, some will.

The New Testament is full of examples of missionaries, their ministries, and the churches that supported them. In light of this, Liberty Bible Church has always been a church that emphasized the support of missionaries, both at home and abroad.

These pages give information on the current missionaries we support. Please familiarize yourself with them and pray for them. If you would like to give monetary gifts of support for any of these ministries, send them to the address below. We will return a receipt and forward your donation along with our regular gift mailing.

"But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." Acts 1:8
